About QDROS, Inc. QDROS, Inc. was formed in 1999 to create a truly interactive website to assist attorneys in the preparation of Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROS). After several years of development and testing, QDROS On-Line went on-line in August 2005. Following are brief resumes of the firm's advisors, in alphabetical order: Harlan C. Foster holds a B.A. from Millikin University in mathematics, and is an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA and is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Mr. Foster is a Principal in the actuarial and welfare benefits consulting firm of H. C. Foster & Company, formed in 1986. He has 35 years of experience as an actuary and pension consultant with specialties in minimum funding valuations, qualified plan drafting, benefit plan administration, and litigation support in actuarial matters. His background includes 5 years with a "Big Four" accounting firm as a senior consultant and four years as the manager of an actuarial department. Robert E. Shaw, Esq., holds a B.S. in industrial engineering from the University of Missouri at Columbia and a J.D. from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Mr. Shaw began practice in Illinois in 1979 and is a Principal in the Mt. Vernon, Illinois law firm of Shaw & Martin, P.C., founded in 1996. He is a member of the ABA and ISBA and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the District Courts of Central and Southern Illinois. Mr. Shaw's practice is concentrated in civil law and litigation including the drafting and enforcement of Qualified Domestic Relations Orders. Return to the Home Page |
